These works do not try to document the various species that have been declared endangered. They deal with the inter-relatedness of all life. The inspiration for this series was the Biblical statement ... "and God gave man dominion over the beasts of the earth."

This dominion is a directive that we must protect as many species as possible so that we may all prosper.  

Already we see evidence that reducing the wolf population in the mountains of North Carolina, we now have a problem with too many deer, rabbits, and rats. Our use of insecticides endanger the honey bee necessary to pollinate all plants. The de Vinci fetus is used as a symbol that humans are also animals and that we are all endangered.
