"Dreams and Coincidental Discovies, represents the artist's feeling of having lived before. Influenced by dreams, travel memories, and a series of coincidences that Carl Jung, a Swiss psychologist called "Synchronicity", Moore believes that events have an underlying meaning."
"These works reflect a sense of mystery and surrealism felt in dreams. Through a style that is reminiscent of old photographs and the use of symbols such as clouds and clocks to suggest the passage of time and mortality,Moore hints at a story that has no proof. The Ghostly images in these paintings arrest the viewer with the feelings of nostalgia, serenity, and desire through a deliberate ambiguity between persons and objects."
The style used in the series the Quest is called Post-Modern by Art Historians. Post-Modern paintings alude to art of the past but are done in a clearly modern way. The painting above is called "The Trip Back Home" and was done in 2010.
